Airsoft team Leadership and organization. Day10
To lead you must follow

Congruent activity is your friend
This is doing two things at once, it also follows into the don’t have 10 people to do a job for two.

Example. Your Airsoft Team is going to an event and have team equipment to load, plus fill Jerry cans of water, Then load personal equipment and have a briefing. The common mistakes is that while the senior guys are having their meeting everyone else is sitting around, or just as bad everyone will be tasked with one item, everyone load the team equipment, then everyone go fill Jerry cans, then every one load personal kit. This isn’t how it should be done. While the leadership is making themselves feel important at the meeting the remainder should be broken up into work parties and work on a specific assigned task. One work party fills Jerry cans, one loads team equipment.

Now for the Airsoft example. Your Platoon sized Airsoft Club  comes across one single  “enemy”. The proper thing to do is to detach a section to handle the problem and have the remainder continue forward.
Otherwise you have a small group working and everyone else sitting around.

To lead you must follow
One aspect of the command structure is that every one is in charge of, and commanded by, another person at all times. The squad leaders are in charge of the team leaders and has a platoon commander boss. It is important for you to set the example. If you don’t like your superior don’t discuss it with the lower ranks. discuss it with your peers of the same rank, but never lower. Don’t argue with your superior in front of the lower ranks, if you have a problem with your boss take him aside and discuss it out of sight. If you have a problem with an order you have been given, do it and debate / complain about it later.  If your subordinates see you constantly complaining about your boss, undermining his authority and debating every order they will think it is the normal course of action and begin complaining , arguing and undermining their boss, you. You don’t have to like a order / course of action you just need to help make it happen.
